Eye drops formulated to give relief from moderate to severe dry eye. AEON PROTECT PLUS is the only dry eye drop indicated for use before and after eye surgery.

AEON PROTECT PLUS contains cross-linked sodium hyaluronate, which results in longer lasting lubrication of the eye’s surface than non cross-linked sodium hyaluronate.

Directions

Administer the drops as directed by a healthcare professional, typically one or two drops into the affected eye(s) as needed. Always wash hands before application to avoid contamination

Cross-linked sodium hyaluronate (0.3%), Mannitol, Amino acids (unspecified blend), Buffering agents (phosphate-free), Water for injection

Can I use it for everyday dryness, not just around surgery?

Yes. As well as use before and after eye surgery, it can relieve everyday dry eye from causes such as screen use, air conditioning, central heating or air travel. Its longer-lasting effect also makes it well suited to night-time use.

Is it suitable for contact lens wearers?

It is compatible with all types of contact lenses. If you also use other eye drops or medication, follow the patient information leaflet or ask your optometrist, and allow a short gap between different products.

How long can the bottle be used after opening?

The dropper is designed to keep the solution sterile without a preservative. The bottle can typically be used for up to 60 days after opening; always confirm against the in-use period and expiry date on your packaging and leaflet.

How is this different from standard AEON PROTECT?

This version uses cross-linked sodium hyaluronate for longer-lasting moisture and is intended for moderate to severe dryness and use around surgery.
