Avamys, a prescription medication, contains the active ingredient Fluticasone furoate, a corticosteroid. This nasal spray is used to treat symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, including a congested, runny, or itchy nose, sneezing, and watery, itchy, or red eyes. Suitable for adults and children aged 6 and above, Avamys works by decreasing inflammation caused by allergies and reducing the symptoms of allergies. Relief from the symptoms of allergic rhinitis may start to be felt within 8 to 24 hours of the first dose, and the full effects of the medication may take several days to become apparent.

How to Use Avamys Nasal Spray
Using Avamys nasal spray is straightforward and easy. Follow these steps for effective use:
Shake Vigorously: Before the first use, shake the nasal spray vigorously for about 10 seconds to ensure the proper dispersion of the medicine.
Prepare the Spray: Remove the cap by squeezing the sides firmly and tilting the nozzle away from you. Press the button firmly multiple times until a fine mist is released into the air.
Clear Your Nostrils: Blow your nose to clear your nostrils and tilt your head slightly forward.
Administer the Spray: Insert the nozzle into one nostril, aiming it slightly outward from the center ridge of your nose. Press the button firmly while breathing in through your nose. If your dose is two sprays per nostril, repeat this step.
Breathe Out: Remove the nozzle and exhale through your mouth.
Repeat for Other Nostril: Repeat steps 3 to 5 for the other nostril.
Replace Cap: After use, replace the cap on the nasal spray to keep it clean and effective.

The active ingredient in Avamys nasal spray is fluticasone furoate, a member of the glucocorticoid class of medicines. This potent ingredient works to reduce inflammation caused by allergies, providing relief from common allergy symptoms. Each spray delivers 27.5 micrograms of fluticasone furoate, ensuring precise and controlled dosage for optimal results. Other ingredients include glucose anhydrous, dispersible cellulose, polysorbate 80, benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate, and purified water.
